Introduction

Mathsweep is a puzzle that will make your brain work. With Mathsweep you learn and maintain principles of math in a fun way.

Mathsweep combines your math skills with logic and strategic thinking in a unique and challenging way.

Mathsweep Objective

Form as big equations as possible with fewest possible moves.

• How to maximize your points:
  • Each formed valid equation adds the value of the equation(s) to your points.
  • On Medium and Hard levels every step you take costs you one point.
• Sweep the table clean by forming valid equations.

Moving the pieces

Choose a piece by tapping on it once. To move the active piece simply tap on an empty target tile. On easy an medium levels you can move pieces without restrictions. On Hard level you can only move horizontally or vertically without jumping other pieces.

Difficulty levels

• Easy: You can jump over other pieces on the board. Make as many steps as you wish. The amount of steps taken is considered only if your points are equal to a previous high score. Less steps is better than more steps if points are tied.
• Medium: You can jump over other pieces on the board. Every step you make reduces your points with one point. If points are tied with an earlier high score, then number of steps is considered. Less steps is better.
• Hard: This one is really tricky. You can no longer jump over other pieces. The tiles move only horisontally or vertically (left, right, up, down). You can move more than one tile at a time as long as you don't jump over tiles.

Tips

• If you plan your equations well, you can form up to two equations with one move.
• Leaving small value pieces to the table can sometimes be better than sweeping the table.
